An Etsy shop, freelance or consulting work, a rental, a contractor’s 1099 income or a full LLC — keep each business’s revenue, expenses, assets and debts separate, then see what it all adds up to in one net worth. No bank connections, no bookkeeping software to learn.
Tracked separately here — but that is bookkeeping, not legal entity separation, and nothing on this page is tax advice.
Every account starts with 30 days of Pro free — no credit card.
One page per side hustle or business
Each business gets its own income, expenses, assets and debts — whether that's a sole proprietorship selling on Etsy or an S-corp. Personal views leave them out, so your household numbers stay yours.

Your Q3 2026 federal estimated tax payment is due September 15 — about a week away.
Hi Jordan,
Your Q3 2026 federal estimated tax payment is due September 15, 2026 — about a week away. Based on the non-W2 income you’ve entered, a rough amount to set aside is:
This is an estimate, not tax advice. It’s roughly one-quarter of the annual tax on your non-W2 income and doesn’t account for deductions, credits, payments you’ve already made, safe-harbor rules, or state and local taxes. Confirm your actual amount before you pay — with your tax software or a tax professional. PiggySize isn’t a tax advisor.
You pay estimated taxes directly to the IRS at irs.gov/payments (and to your state if it has income tax).
You’re getting this because you turned on quarterly estimated-tax reminders in PiggySize. Manage your reminders anytime in Settings, or turn off just this reminder.
Come retirement
Sell it before you retire, keep it running, close it, or hand it on — the retirement projection carries that decision through to the month you stop working.
How the retirement engine works
Anything you earn from that isn’t a paycheck. Run one or run several — each keeps its own books.
Sole proprietorship, LLC, LLC taxed as an S-corp, S-corp, C-corp or partnership. Record the EIN, industry and home state, and set the estimated tax rate you actually use — it starts at 25%.
Give each owner a percentage and PiggySize splits distributions by it. Owner W-2 pay is tracked apart from profit, and partnership or K-1 pass-through income lands as its own income line.
Equipment, inventory, accounts receivable, a vehicle, business property, intellectual property and equity in the business itself — none of which belong in your personal net worth, and none of which are counted there.
A bill that serves both sides — a phone plan, a car, an internet line — can be split by percentage across businesses, with whatever is left staying personal. Value the business by hand, or as a multiple of revenue, a multiple of profit, or its net assets.
Business financial tracking is for informational purposes only. PiggySize does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice, and tracking business and personal finances separately in this app does not constitute legal entity separation. Estimated-tax figures are rough estimates that ignore deductions, credits, payments already made, safe-harbor rules, and state and local taxes — confirm your actual amount with your tax software or a tax professional before you pay. Consult a CPA or attorney for entity structuring and tax planning.
