1. Acceptance of Terms

PiggySize is operated by HTMLGuy LLC, doing business as PiggySize ("PiggySize," "we," "our," or "us").

By accessing and using PiggySize, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirements

Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use PiggySize. By using our service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use this service.

Account Responsibility: If you are creating an account on behalf of a minor (13-17 years old), you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian and have the authority to bind the minor to these terms. You are responsible for the minor's use of the service and any data entered.

United States: PiggySize is designed for households in the United States, and new account registration is currently limited to the United States.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that we believe are created by or for users under 13 years of age without parental consent, or that violate these eligibility requirements.

3. Service Description

PiggySize is a personal financial tracking and planning tool designed to help you manage and visualize your finances. You enter your own financial information manually — we never ask for your bank credentials and never connect to your financial accounts. PiggySize does not hold or move money, process payments on your behalf (other than billing for PiggySize itself), or provide banking, brokerage, lending, tax, or credit services. We provide this service "as is" for your personal use, and we may add, change, or remove features over time as we improve the service.

4. Data Accuracy & Calculations

No Financial Advice: PiggySize provides tools for tracking and calculations based on data you provide. We are not financial advisors. All calculations, projections, and analyses are for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial advice.

Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy in our calculations, we make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any financial data, projections, or calculations. You are solely responsible for verifying all information and consulting with qualified financial professionals for financial decisions.

5. Service Availability

Uptime: We strive to keep PiggySize available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or events beyond our control, including hosting-provider, network, or other third-party outages.

No Liability: We are not liable for any damages, losses, or consequences resulting from service downtime, data loss, or unavailability. We recommend keeping your own records of the key figures you enter; you can download a full copy of your data at any time from Settings → Your Data.

6. Security & Data Breaches

Security Measures: We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encryption and secure authentication. We also offer optional account-security features, such as two-factor authentication and one-time backup codes, which you can enable in Settings → Security. However, no system is completely secure.

Your Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. In the event of any security breach or unauthorized access, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, but we are not liable for any damages resulting from such incidents.

7. Privacy & Your Data

Your privacy is important to us. We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You retain all rights to your financial data, and we will never sell it to third parties. You can download a complete copy of your family's data at any time from Settings → Your Data, and the account owner can permanently delete the account and all of its data from Settings — deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

8. Family Accounts

Roles: A PiggySize account is a family account. The person who creates the account is the owner; the owner may invite a spouse or partner and children as additional members. One subscription covers the whole family.

Sharing & Permissions: When you invite someone to your family account, they can view and edit your family's financial information according to the permissions set for them. The owner controls each member's permissions and may remove members at any time. Child members have limited access and see only information relating to them.

Responsibility: You are responsible for who you invite. Members must meet the age requirements in Section 2; children under 13 cannot have their own logins. The owner is responsible for the family account overall, including billing.

Owner Deletion: If the owner deletes the family account, all of the family's data is permanently deleted, including information entered by other members.

9. User Responsibilities

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials, including your password and any other sign-in methods you enable. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

Accurate Information: You agree to keep your account information (such as your email address) accurate so we can reach you about your account.

Lawful Use: You agree to use PiggySize only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You will not attempt to hack, probe, scrape, disrupt, reverse engineer, or compromise the security of our service, or attempt to access data belonging to other families.

10. Free Trials & Subscriptions

Trial Grant: Upon creating an account, you will automatically receive a free trial of our Pro features (currently 30 days). No payment method is required for the trial. By signing up, you agree to participate in this trial period. Trial length and specific features are determined at the time of grant and may vary for special promotions. One free trial per family.

Subscribing During a Trial: You may subscribe to a paid plan at any time during a free trial, and you keep the days remaining on that trial. Your paid subscription is scheduled to begin on the date your trial was already set to end: you are not charged at checkout, your access continues without interruption, and your first payment is charged on that trial end date. If you cancel before then, you are not charged at all. (Where fewer than 48 hours remain on a trial, our payment processor requires the subscription to begin at least 48 hours after checkout, so the start date may fall slightly later than the original trial end date. Trial time is never shortened.) Because the trial is not cut short, no refund or credit for unused trial days is applicable.

Automatic Transition: Upon expiration of a free trial (if you have not subscribed to a paid plan), your family account will automatically transition to the "Free" plan. No charges will be incurred automatically at the end of a trial unless you have explicitly provided payment information for a subscription. If you choose to move to the Free plan while a trial is still running, that change also takes effect at the end of your trial period rather than immediately, so you keep the trial days you have left.

Payment Method: We use third-party payment processors (such as Stripe) to handle all subscription billing. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees via our processor.

Price Changes: We may change subscription prices from time to time. If we increase the price of a plan you subscribe to, we will notify you in advance, and the new price will take effect at your next billing cycle. If you do not agree to the new price, you can cancel your subscription before it takes effect.

Failed Payments: If a subscription payment fails, our payment processor may retry the charge. If payment continues to fail, your subscription may be canceled and your family account moved to the Free plan. Your data is preserved.

Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the billing portal. Cancellations will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Refunds: Except where required by law, all payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods or unused features. If you switch between paid plans, we may apply prorated charges or credits for the remainder of your billing period.

Notifications: We provide courtesy email notifications regarding your trial status (e.g., when a trial starts, is ending soon, or has expired). By signing up and participating in a trial, you consent to receive these transaction-related communications.

11. Promo Codes & Special Offers

PiggySize may, from time to time, offer promotional codes or special offers. These codes have no cash value and are non-transferable. Each code may be subject to specific terms (e.g., expiration date, one-time use, limited to new users). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any promo code or offer at any time without notice. Use of a promo code constitutes acceptance of any additional terms specific to that offer.

12. AI-Powered Features

AI Assistant: PiggySize may offer AI-powered features, including but not limited to an AI financial assistant. These features use artificial intelligence to provide informational and educational responses based on your self-reported financial data.

Not Professional Advice: AI-generated responses are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. They are provided for informational and educational purposes only. You should always consult with qualified professionals before making financial decisions based on any AI-generated content.

Usage Limits: AI-powered features are subject to reasonable usage limits, which may vary by plan type and may change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to throttle, restrict, or modify access to AI features at our discretion to ensure service quality and availability for all users.

Accuracy: While we strive to provide helpful and accurate AI responses, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated responses. You are solely responsible for verifying any information provided by AI features.

Data Usage: AI features may process your financial data to generate personalized responses. This processing may be performed by trusted third-party AI providers on our behalf and is governed by our Privacy Policy. Conversations with the AI assistant may be stored, and may be reviewed by our team, to improve service quality and for support and safety purposes. Your financial data is not used to train AI models.

13. Third-Party Professional Referrals

PiggySize may display contact information for third-party professionals such as financial advisors, insurance agents, accountants, and attorneys. These listings are provided for informational convenience only.

No Endorsement: PiggySize does not endorse, vet, certify, or guarantee the qualifications, competence, services, or advice of any listed professional. The inclusion of a professional on our platform does not constitute a recommendation or referral.

Independent Relationship: Any engagement with a listed professional is solely between you and that professional. PiggySize is not a party to, and accepts no responsibility or liability for, any services, advice, fees, or outcomes resulting from such engagements.

Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying credentials, licensing, insurance, and suitability before engaging any professional. We encourage you to perform your own due diligence and check with relevant licensing boards or professional organizations.

No Compensation: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, PiggySize does not receive compensation or commissions for displaying professional listings. If any referral relationship involves compensation in the future, it will be clearly disclosed.

14. Partner Program

PiggySize offers a Partner Program that allows participants to earn rewards for referring new users. The Partner Program is governed by a separate Partner Agreement, which participants accept when signing up as a partner. These terms do not modify the Partner Agreement.

15. Use License & Feedback

Permission is granted to use PiggySize for personal, non-commercial purposes. This is a license, not a transfer of title. You may not modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our service without express permission.

Feedback: If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the service, you agree that we may use them without restriction and without compensation to you.

Tools and calculators. The interactive calculators, tools, and widgets we make available through the Service (including those embedded in our blog and on our free tool pages) are provided free of charge for your personal, non-commercial use on PiggySize websites and applications only. They, together with the underlying code, formulas, calculations, and content, are the property of HTMLGuy LLC d/b/a PiggySize and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, embed, frame, mirror, scrape, republish, distribute, sell, or otherwise use them on any other website, application, or service, or for any commercial purpose, without our prior written permission. Any results these tools produce are educational estimates only and are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

16. Accessibility

We are committed to making PiggySize accessible and easy to use for everyone. We continuously work to improve the accessibility of our platform and strive to follow best practices for web accessibility. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us.

17. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date, and we may also ask you to review and accept the updated terms in the app before continuing to use the service. Your continued use of PiggySize after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

18. Account Closure & Data Deletion

Canceling Your Subscription: You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, after which your family account automatically moves to the Free plan. Your data is preserved.

Deleting Your Account: The account owner may permanently delete the family account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is immediate and permanent: the family's personal and financial data is deleted from our active databases and cannot be recovered, any active subscription is canceled, and no refund is provided for any remaining paid period. Limited billing records (such as invoice history) may be retained where required for legal and tax compliance, and residual copies may persist in our infrastructure providers' backups for a limited period.

Termination by Us: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.

19. Disclaimer of Warranties

PiggySize is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any calculation or projection will be accurate or reliable. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

20. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PiggySize and its members, managers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the service
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the service
• Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the service

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total combined liability of PiggySize and its members, managers, employees, and agents for all claims arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to PiggySize in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

21. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PiggySize and its members, managers, employees, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

22. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service, are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

Talk to Us First: Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us through the contact form on our website and describe the dispute. Most concerns can be resolved quickly and informally. If we have not resolved the dispute within 30 days of your notice, either of us may proceed as described below.

Binding Arbitration: Except for the small-claims option below, any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of PiggySize will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will take place in Palm Beach County, Florida, or, where the AAA rules allow, by telephone or video conference or on written submissions. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.

Small Claims: Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court in Palm Beach County, Florida, if the claim qualifies.

Class Action Waiver: Both you and PiggySize agree that disputes may be brought only on an individual basis, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. If this class action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular dispute, the arbitration provision does not apply to that dispute.

30-Day Opt-Out: You may opt out of this arbitration provision by notifying us through the contact form on our website within 30 days after you first accept a version of these terms containing it, stating your account email address and that you opt out of arbitration. If you opt out (or where arbitration does not apply), disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and both you and PiggySize consent to their jurisdiction and venue.

Exceptions: Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court for infringement or misuse of intellectual property or unauthorized access to the service.

23. Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement: These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms that apply to specific features or offers (such as the Partner Agreement or promo-code terms), make up the entire agreement between you and PiggySize regarding the service.

Severability: If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these terms. We may assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.

Survival: Sections that by their nature should survive termination of your account (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law) survive.
