The Retirement page can save a dated snapshot of your plan — assumptions, headline numbers, your income-by-source table, and any Monte Carlo results — and open it as a print-friendly page you can print or save as a PDF.
Before you start
- Saving a report is a Pro feature (included in the 30-day trial).
- You need to be the account owner or spouse — child accounts don't see the Retirement page.
Steps
- Go to Retirement (opens in a new tab) and run your projection as usual.
- On the Projections view, click Save report near the top of the page.
- PiggySize saves a dated snapshot and opens it on its own page.
- Click Print / Save as PDF. This opens your browser's print dialog — choose "Save as PDF" as the destination if you want a file instead of a paper copy.
- Find every report you've saved in the Report Archive card (below your settings on desktop, or in the Insights tab on mobile). Click the eye icon to open a saved report again, or the trash icon to delete one.
What's in the report
- Plan Assumptions — retirement age(s), expected return, inflation, withdrawal rate, and whether it was a flat or Monte Carlo projection.
- Headline Numbers — projected balance at retirement, portfolio balance at the end of the projection, and whether your plan is projected to last.
- Plan Confidence (Monte Carlo) — success rate and 10th/50th/90th percentile ending balances, shown only if you ran a Monte Carlo simulation before saving.
- Income by Source (Retirement Years) — a year-by-year table of work income, Social Security, pension, annuity, other income, and portfolio withdrawals from your retirement age onward.
- Milestones — key events in your plan (retirement, Social Security start, Medicare transition, and more) with their dates.
Every report is stamped with the IRS/SSA reference-data year PiggySize used when it was generated.
Good to know
- A report is a snapshot, not a live view. It never changes after you save it — even if you later update your income, bills, or retirement settings. Save a new report whenever you want current numbers.
- Reports are capped at 50 per family, and saving is limited to 10 per hour — generous for repeated real use, not for automation.
- If you downgrade to Free after saving at least one report, your most recent report stays visible read-only on the Retirement page — you don't lose your last snapshot, but you'll need Pro again to save a new one or run an updated projection.
- Pro members can ask Piggy to explain any number on a saved report once it's open.
FAQ
Can I still see a report if I downgrade from Pro?
Yes. If your family saved at least one report while on Pro, your most recent report stays visible read-only on the Retirement page after downgrading, with a banner showing the date it was generated and a link to upgrade again.
How many reports can I save?
Up to 50 per family. Saving a 51st report quietly drops the oldest one.
Can I edit a saved report?
No. A saved report is a snapshot — its numbers never change, even if you later update your retirement settings. Save a new report anytime to capture your current numbers.
Who can save, view, or delete reports?
The account owner and spouse. Child accounts don't have access to the Retirement page or its reports.
